2019 SBLL All-Star Tryouts - Saturday May 11th

South Boise Little League will be holding try-outs for All Stars on Saturday, May 11th at Liberty Park Field.  If your player is league age 9 to 12 years old and interested in participating in try-outs, please review the following requirements. If your player does not meet one of the requirements they will not be eligible for All-Stars and should not attend try-outs. Player participation, interest and commitment will determine if a teams can be created for 2019. 

 

  • 4pm – 9 Year Olds – (A Minors) – Liberty Park Field #3

  • 5pm – 10 Year Olds – (AA Minors) – Liberty Park Field #1

  • 6pm – 11-12 Year Olds (Majors) – Liberty Park Field #1

 

The following requirements must be met prior to participating in All-Star try-outs.

 

  • The player must be available to play in the district tournament.

  • 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U Divisions – District Tournament – Eagle, Idaho -  July 1st– 13th. *More details TBD.

  • The player must have played in South Boise Little League A Minor, AA Minor or Major Divisions for at least 60% of the regular season games.

  • The player must reside or attend school in South Boise Little League boundaries. Go to www.southboisell.com to view boundary map. 

 

If your player is selected to participate on the All-Star team the Player’s parent(s) or guardian must provide the following:

 

Note: Documents are required by our Little League District to determine eligibility. All documents will be mailed back or hand delivered when the All Star Coordinators have processed the documents through Little League District/International Officials. Team selection will occur after try-outs (after June 1st) and be posted on www.southboisell.com.

 

  • South Boise Little All-Star Commitment Form – Will be sent to selected players. 

  • Participation cost of $50 to $100. *TBD

  • Medical Release document.

  • Player’s ORIGINAL birth certificate. No exceptions.

  • Proof of residence in SBLL boundaries or school attendance within SBLL boundaries:

    • Residence shall be established and supported by documents, dated or in force between February 1, 2018 (previous year) and February 1, 2019 (current year), from THREE OR MORE of the following categories to determine residency of such parent(s) or guardian.

      Note: Three utility bills (three items from No. 10) constitute only ONE document. 

      • Driver’s License

      • Voter’s Registration 

      • School records 

      • Welfare/child care records 

      • Federal records 

      • State records 

      • Local (municipal) records 

      • Support payment records 

      • Homeowner or tenant records 

      • Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, waste disposal) 

      • Financial (loan, credit, investments, etc.) records 

      • Insurance documents 

      • Medical records 

      • Military records 

      • Internet, cable or satellite records

      • Vehicle records 

      • Employment records

  • Proof of school attendance

    • ONE of the following categories options is needed to determine school attendance within SBLL boundaries:

      • A Little League issued school attendance form completed by the principal, assistant principal or administrator.

      • Official/Certified school enrollment record dated prior to October 1, 2018. 

      • School issued report card or performance record dated prior to October 1, 2018.
